We all had a wonderful day at our 2nd Annual Harvest Hoedown. Thank you to all our supporters that came out and spent your Sunday afternoon with us. We could not have ordered better weather, the food was yummy, and the talented entertainment was awesome. Hope you can join us again next year, put it on your calender, October 13th, 2013. HARVEST HOEDOWN

Our 2nd Annual Event

S.V.Y.R Harvest Hoedown on Oct. 7th 12-5p.m. Free will donation lunch (12-3), horse rides, campfire, and games. Live Entertainment by Harvest Time Gospel, Keosippi Kickers, Kids in Motion & The Tinders Band. 50/50 Horse Carrot Race(2:30). Stay after our event 5-6pm for worship service. June 3rd-11th Dona is going to Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Oregon for leadership training.

June 16th Saturday, 10AM-5PM, a Day Camp for boys and girls entering 1st-6th grades. Call to register.

June 18th Monday Bible Club will meet every Monday throughout the summer, for youth 6th grade and up.

June 30th 1PM - July 1st 1PM An overnight camp out for girls entering 6th grade and up. Call to register.

Introducing CASEY. She is a sixteen year old quater horse. We got her from the Amish.

OPEN HOUSE

OPEN HOUSE; May 5th 1:00pm to 4:00pm. It is a great time to visit the ranch. Come meet all the horses, schedule your family or youth's sessions for summer, and/or sign up to voluteer for the summer. Activities; go hiking on a guided trail tour, or horse rides around the arena. We hope to have our new t-shirts there to purchase. Hope to see ya'll!

BAMBI

We're OPEN

Call for your famiy or childs session. Our hours until school is out is Monday-Thursday 3p.m-7p.m.

BAKE SALE Fundraiser. This coming weekend April 14th at Wal-Mart in Keokuk, IA. Come by our table and support us by getting some homemade goodies. UPDATE 4/26/12 Bake Sale was a success even in the rain. With the help of some outgoing girls we sold every single item by 1pm and brought in $312. Thank you to the public that stopped by our table and supported us. Also thank you to all the volunteers that baked or helped out that day.

Girls Bible Club

We started a bible club this winter for girls ages 8-13. We have a group of 11 girls so far. We get right into the word and learn about what God has to say about issues that they are dealing with in their life. They enjoy a dinner together and then go out and work(play) cleaning up the ranch or horses.

Clean Up Day

SVYR clean up day at the ranch. Need volunteers this Saturday March 10th from 10am-4pm, anytime you can. Take in active role in getting the ranch ready for this spring. Lots of poop scooping and dirty hay removal. Thank You.

UPDATE: Thank you to all that donated your time. It was a successful day getting this place clean and safe for the kids.

New Shelter

As of Monday, Feb 6th, the new shelter is done. Just in time for the spring rains and the hot summer sun.

2012 SVYR

Welcome everyone, 2011 was our first year open. It was wonderful how much we were blessed with over 100 children visiting the ranch and 8 volunteers. We were able to raise around 12,000 dollars between donations and fundraising. That doesn't count the items donated. The beautiful new SVYR sign was made by John Humphry, my son-inlaw. A man donated 25 round bales of hay. Awesome!! Neighbors with a big tractor took time to move the hay for us to the field. We also were given a manure spreader and harrow, this allows us to keep the pasture up. God has truly blessed the ranch. We are very excited about 2012 and the projects we are planning for the youth and families. We have already started a bible study in January. It's on Mondays from 4-7 for young girls. It includes eating, study the New Testment and covering things they have to deal with everyday. Then out to the horses to love on them and do some chores.
